Welcome!

Tusayan is Arizona’s 91st and newest incorporated community, having incorporated in April 2010. We are located adjacent to the South Rim Entrance to Grand Canyon National Park and the heart of the Grand Canyon. Our small community in northern Arizona is a service community and meets the needs of millions of visitors per year. Tusayan is primarily a tourism-based economy that has developed to welcome and care for the year-round visitors that come to enjoy and partake in this World Heritage Site, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Our diverse base of residents and workers reflect the international flavor of the Grand Canyon’s draw.

As a young Town, Tusayan is working toward a greater sense of autonomy and designing how our community will grow in the future. Tusayan is a unique place to live and work, and we are developing housing plans and goals that will give our residents a greater sense of community. We have many exciting ideas and plans in creating a growing quality of life and positive economic environment for our citizens and businesses. Tusayan's town council will be making decisions and building relationships as a community that will guide us into the future with a strong foundation based upon what is right for us, uses sound planning, offers transparency in government, and focuses on investing in our people.

We are excited to be part of this unique and challenging time in Tusayan's history. We look forward to achieving our goals in a timely manner, developing new ones, and building a fabric of ownership by our citizens.

As you look through our site, we hope it will share with you a sense of our uniqueness, our sense of community and our desire to be open and welcoming to our visitors and residents.

Respectfully,

Greg Bryan
Mayor
